Hi! I'm Shawn Carter. I'm the Lead Audio Engineer at Breakthrough Sounds Studio in Cleveland working with artists to create work that has been shared with thousands for the past two years. In college, as I earned my degree in Audio Engineering, I worked on live shows, radio stations, and various studios. Over 10 years later, I train interns and junior engineers and make sure the studio runs smoothly.

I work with Colored Radio, a podcast in its 6th year that interviews local artists to highlight Cleveland's musical talent. As an engineer, I have clients from around the world and have mixed and mastered Bollywood music, rap, heavy metal, and more. As the go-to engineer for sound design at Breakthrough Sounds, I am known for my work on TV shows and documentaries. I have credits with HBO Max, Tubi, Discovery, and more.
